Come Join us for this premier weekend on Cape Cod, where for one fee you are offered your choice of several classes, a lovely room, and all six meals for a truly stress free Quilter Retreat. A Tropical Pool and Hot Tub are there for your enjoyment!

This newly renovated resort hotel has every luxury required for a mini vacation. As well as catering to your every need, you will be offered the chance to be challenged, add to your quilting skills and meet with your fellow quilters from around the country, greet old friends and make new ones. You will have time to spend with other quilters doing things that result in a full weekend of self-satisfaction and relaxation. Bring those UFO’s you’ve been meaning to finish… you’ll go home with them done!

CLASSES: We are very fortunate to have excellent teachers joining us. We have 4 classes to choose from. Each teacher brings years of quilting experience. All classes are planned for the success of both beginner and experienced quilters, so don’t be shy about signing up for our classes. Quilter’s Holiday

BLENDED BORDERS QUILT: Learn the technique to integrate the focal center and the border to create a masterpiece that only LOOKS difficult! Some prep work will be necessary for this class. Ellen Peterson

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS are on the following page and are chosen for universal success. All require your sewing machine (in good working order, of course). Please indicate by number 1, 2, etc. your preferences. Classes are assigned on a first come, first served basis with a maximum of 20 students in each class. First Class on the weekend starts at 2PM Friday.

REGISTRATION: The Grand Ballroom will be set up with comfortable, spacious work areas for each quilter, as well as a table for basting/pinning. In order to assure each one their own uncrowded space, a maximum of 76 registrations will be accepted.

VENDOR: Cozy Home Quilt Shop will be providing a mini-store in the Grand Ballroom in case any essential items like: sewing machine needles, pins, or rotary cutter blades need to be replaced in the “wee hours”, as well as new and exciting books and fabrics to tempt you. Kits of materials required for some classes will also be available, for that last minute decision to take a class where space permits.

THE COST for this wonderful weekend is STILL just $335.00, which includes a non-refundable registration fee of $10.00. This includes room (based on double occupancy), six delicious meals, classes and all the extras. SINGLE OCCUPANCY is $400.00. First Payment of $235.00 is due with registration. The balance is due February 28, 2010.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARRIVE ON THURSDAY:

As usual, if you are planning to arrive on Thursday you will need to make individual arrangements with the hotel for that night. I have arranged for a special rate of $70.00 per room for participants of Quilter’s Holiday Weekend. The Sheraton Four Points phone number is (508)-255-5000. Tell them you are a registered weekend quilter.

I am offering a special class on Thursday night and Friday morning for those of you who may want to have a special project to work on over the weekend. This class is NOT included in the price of the weekend and will cost an additional $50.00. This will include your pick of a kit with the fabric needed to make the quilt top; there will be many color schemes to choose from. WOW!!!! (The Grand Ballroom in the hotel will be open for those of you who just want to sew.)
